It’s “SImple Dori Saturday” and we are featuring a fun-sized spread using the Daily Journal Collection.

Even when you are scrapping small, you can create a big impact on your projects. For this layout, using the Daily Journal Traveler’s Notebook Memory Keeping Kit and Daily Journal Modern Memory Keeping Kit, I decided to grab a couple of journaling cards. They were perfect for bringing a punch of color and giving me a spot to add my photos. The 3×4 size works really well on the pages in the Daily Journal Simple Dori.

Since I wanted a Fall/Halloween vibe on this spread, I went through both of the kits to find products that were black or orange. The journaling cards were definitely my starting point. The typewriter alpha stickers from the Daily Journal Modern Memory Keeping Kit were adorable and were perfect for adding a title to my spread.
One of my favorite new stamp sets has to be the Daily Journal 4×6 Alpha Stamp! I love the grungy feel of the letters, and I couldn’t resist using it on this layout. I stamped with one of my orange Distress Oxide inks to bring more of that color into my spread. Then I finished everything up with a few of the adhesive-backed die-cut embellishments from both of the kits.
