We hope in the month of November you had an opportunity to visit with family and friends (even if it’s over Zoom or Facetime) and have fun! Our Creative Team is sharing how they document family, friends, and fun using the Cocoa Daisy Kits.
Audrey used the Gather Collection to create a beautiful anniversary album.
If you have been following along with my memory keeping for November you will know that I have been working on my 10th Anniversary album using the Gather Collection. It is now complete – YAY! Let’s dive into my process. I kept to a specific format for each year. First, each year I did a simple cover page. I used the Gather Memory Keeping Kit Papers and the number stamps from the Gather Modern Memory Keeping Kit, that I fussy cut out to note each year. I ended with a die-cut, a chipboard piece, and one of the index tabs from the main planner kit.
Each year has pictures of us from the month of November and journaling. To print the journaling on my card, I used clear sticker paper. It’s really easy, I just measured the area of the 3×4 pocket card from the Modern Memory Keeping Kit and printed it on my printer. I added a few embellishments and called it done.
Finally, I added some light embellishments to the photos. Specifically for the 4×6 photos, I added some of the letter stickers with just a small sentiment about us and our years together. I really love how this album came out! You can find a walkthrough of the entire album on my YouTube channel.
April played off the blues in the Winter Twilight Collection to document a sweet moment among friends.
I loved the blues in the Winter Twilight Collection immediately. I wanted the snowflakes from the Winter Twilight Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit to be the stars of the page so I layered them with a simple black and white photo.
The twinkle background stamp from the Winter Twilight Modern Memory Keeping Kit added the perfect pop of color and dimension behind the snowflakes.
To complete the page, and add more texture, I layered the silver blingy star stickers from the Winter Twilight Classified: Memory Keeping Kit.
Jennie was also loving the blue vibes from the Winter Twilight Collection, perfect for capturing pool time fun with the family.
The blues in the Winter Twilight Collection are perfect! Now, I know that they are primarily geared toward the snowflakes and a snowy feel of winter BUT, it was perfect for this Christmas day story I wanted to tell. I mean, the blues match the pool water and bright blue sky, right?!
I loved adding embellishments from the Winter Twilight Modern Memory Keeping Kit to add a bit of whimsy to this spread in my Winter Twilight Simple Dori.
