Hello Daisies!  Are there any 12 x 12 scrappers here?  Ariana and I are here to show you that 12×12 layouts can be transformed to fit the Simple Dori.  I absolutely love the Simple Dori because it is so space saving!

First off, you can find some 12 x 12 layouts from the Cocoa Daisy Pinterest boards.  Lots of beautiful projects there.  One of the projects that struck my eye is this 12 x 12 layout done by Kylie Kingham.  It’s so lovely and I used it as a sketch for my Simple Dori layout.

I was especially drawn to the circle in the design because I wanted to use the doilies that came in the Lemon Grove kit.  I trimmed some patterned papers and lay them on the sides.  I’m not a fan of my handwriting so I loved this huge sticker quote from the Memory keeping sticker kit and used it to serve as my journaling.  

I then proceeded to follow the sketch using the chipboard sticker and tab as embellishments.  When working with a sketch, remember that you can always make changes to accommodate your own style and preference.
