Hello everyone! I am so very happy to be here today to share how I decorate my personal-size ring planner using Cocoa Daisy’s stamps and stickers… My planner is my oasis, my safe-spot! It’s where I go to keep me organized with my appointments, reminders and to-do lists, but it is also for me to gather inspiration, creativity and motivation! When I first receive my kit, I like to go through everything to get a feel for how I would like to use everything; I then go ahead and set up my planner with how I like the pages to be lined-up and start picturing what and where I would like to add my lists, decor and memory-keeping…

After inserting my inserts in the order I like, I add my number stickers to the week-on-one-pages and stamp my week-on-two-pages with number stamps. It’s important to me to have everything dated ahead of time.
After, I move onto the blank pages where I sometimes add a little bit of decor – most of the time it’s to test out new stamps that came in the Cocoa Daisy Kit… and then later on, during the week, I’ll add in things that pertain to that week.
For the pics below, I prepped the pages for my months goals on the leftside, and on the rightside, for a Currently:

The weekend before a new week, I like to get everything planned out. First I start with some functional stamping, next is using some functional stickers, and then I write in all of my plans for the week. After all that is done, I go back and add in any other little details I need and/or to-do lists and then some decor…

Sometimes, I just want to make a “happy page” – something cute to look at that will definitely bring on a smile 🙂  You never know when you’ll need a quick pick-me-up! Especially with Simon close-by!!!

The following pic is my favorite week in November… not only was it my youngest’s birthday, but I just love how it all turned out on paper, lol! Stamps, stickers, washi tape and more! Don’t ever be afraid to try anything – you can always cover up any mistakes with something…

Like I mentioned before, when I first receive my inserts for a new month, I do like to go ahead and try to plan out the majority of my stamping ahead of time. I recently started to meal plan…

And don’t forget to add in pieces of ephemera, project life cards, scrapbook papers… use them all as tip-ins with washi tape, or punch holes in for extra pages and dividers or bookmarks! I enjoy using tip-ins to add quotes, or to hide important information from anyone who may be looking over my shoulder, lol! And sometimes, it’s all in there just for fun because it’s cute and I wanted to do something with it!
I also like to use stickers and stamps to play with the decor that is already on the inserts. The pages are all so pretty to begin with, adding a turkey here and there to celebrate a holiday can really bring it all together 😉

And lastly, but most certainly one of my most favorite things to do…
USE those letter stickers!!! I used to hoard my sheets… but I really don’t like to see my handwriting on my tabs and/or headers. So I have been using up my letter stickers on everything! Even if they don’t match or if I’ve run out of upper/lower case letters, I go ahead and keep using my sheets up until I run out of vowels, lol!

Some tips:
– When stamping on your planning pages, please keep in mind how much room you’re going to need for any extensive plans or lists for that day or week.
– When using letter stickers, remember to spell out the word before sticking down your letters. You don’t want to have to peel them back up because you have misspelled a word or don’t have enough letters (I still do this way too much, lol!)
– Make sure to clean your stamps! I suggest cleaning them immediately after using them. All I do is take a piece of scrap paper and I keep stamping until there is no longer any ink.
– And, as always, don’t forget to have fun! Your planner is yours to do anything you want with it! Make it a happy place 🙂
Thank you so much for allowing me to share my ideas and style with you today! I hope I have inspired you to use your stickers and stamps in some functional and/or creative way. Be sure to tag Cocoa Daisy and myself so we can see your stamping and sticker happiness too 🙂
